Reliability Engineer and Ops Lead - Data Platform

- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Improve operational stability by identifying recurring issues and automating their remediation.
- Lead adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Establish validation standards for AI outputs, including correctness, performance, security, peer review, and automated testing.
- Coach engineers on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture, technical credentials, and system applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience where required by the applicable regional guidance.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
