Base Salary
$147k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build frameworks, SDKs, and execution surfaces governing interactions among agents, tools, and services.
- Build sandboxed agent execution infrastructure for safely running and inspecting workflows at scale.
- Design and maintain evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for agent components and end-to-end systems.
- Develop developer-facing abstractions and tools that enable research scientists to build, compose, and deploy agents.
- Improve system reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Collaborate across engineering, research, and product teams to deliver maintainable, well-tested systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience building production services and developer-facing tools.
- Experience designing SDKs, APIs, or frameworks adopted and used by other engineers.
- Hands-on experience with agentic systems, including orchestration, tool integration, sandboxed execution, memory management, or agent runtime surfaces.
- Experience designing evaluation or benchmarking infrastructure for system or component performance.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP, containerization, and deployment automation.
- Strong communication skills and ownership of results.
