Base Salary

$147k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and build frameworks, SDKs, and execution surfaces governing interactions among agents, tools, and services.
Build sandboxed agent execution infrastructure for safely running and inspecting workflows at scale.
Design and maintain evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for agent components and end-to-end systems.
Develop developer-facing abstractions and tools that enable research scientists to build, compose, and deploy agents.
Improve system reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
Collaborate across engineering, research, and product teams to deliver maintainable, well-tested systems.

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
Strong Python engineering skills and experience building production services and developer-facing tools.
Experience designing SDKs, APIs, or frameworks adopted and used by other engineers.
Hands-on experience with agentic systems, including orchestration, tool integration, sandboxed execution, memory management, or agent runtime surfaces.
Experience designing evaluation or benchmarking infrastructure for system or component performance.
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP, containerization, and deployment automation.
Strong communication skills and ownership of results.
