Base Salary

$158k - $214k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable architectures for APIs serving millions of advertisers at thousands of transactions per second.
  • Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) server infrastructure for low-latency AI agent and advertiser-data interaction.
  • Establish system design patterns and best practices for global advertising experiences at scale.
  • Develop generative AI and agentic systems for strategic advertiser guidance, including agent orchestration and context optimization.
  • Build and operate distributed systems, data-processing services, monitoring, load-testing, and infrastructure-provisioning solutions.
  • Create feedback loops that evaluate and improve AI solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
