Responsibilities
- Build and deploy cloud security services using automation, infrastructure as code, and test-driven development practices.
- Design, implement, and deploy AWS security controls using serverless architectures and automation.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for secure, efficient, and scalable cloud deployments.
- Support cloud security platforms and services and act as a subject matter expert for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS implementations.
- Conduct proofs of concept for AWS-native, open-source, and vendor security solutions.
- Implement SRE practices and participate in on-call rotations for critical systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience, including demonstrated development of AWS cloud security solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience with AWS security services including GuardDuty, IAM, Security Hub, and Control Tower.
- Experience with AWS services, serverless architectures, policy-as-code tools, Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in Python for developing AWS security solutions.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline and understanding of DevOps and SRE practices.
- Preferred experience with Wiz or other cloud security posture management platforms.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, or CKA.
- Preferred knowledge of CSA CMM, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and NIST CSF compliance frameworks.
- Preferred experience using AI agents and skills to enhance security operations.
