Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software components for Cisco IOS XE platforms.
- Write and debug C code on Linux-based systems.
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and deliver high-quality software in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Build expertise in networking protocols, operating systems, Linux, and platform software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong C programming skills and understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of computer networking fundamentals and networking protocols.
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux operating systems and basic Linux troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for automation or prototyping.
- Preferred: academic or project experience with C, Linux, or networking; knowledge of L2/L3 networking, QoS, ACLs, routing protocols, operating-system concepts, and debugging tools.
