Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications, services, and RESTful APIs using Java, Kotlin, or Python, ReactJS, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or FastAPI.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code according to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions and implement scalable, reliable backend services.
- Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Work with relational databases, write SQL queries, and apply database transaction and data consistency principles.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Contribute to performance optimization, monitoring, reliability improvements, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Take ownership of assigned features and tasks, including testing and documentation.
- Use agentic development tools to deliver features in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of professional software development experience, preferably in full-stack engineering.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Kotlin, or Python, along with ReactJS experience.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Django, or FastAPI.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and basic database design.
- Understanding of database transactions, ACID properties, and data consistency.
- Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, and writing testable, maintainable code.
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD fundamentals.
- Good understanding of agentic software development tools and Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
