Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions for the MSE Billing Team’s platform services.
- Gather functional requirements and create technical specifications, project plans, and test plans.
- Design and architect project modules and build reusable, highly available, and resilient components.
- Deliver engineering and operational excellence for team services and support infrastructure as code practices.
- Implement user experiences in collaboration with designers and product owners.
- Apply AI expertise to build MCPs, agents, and models for challenging problems.
- Work cross-functionally with product management, product lines, and business units.
- Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Understand pub/sub eventing models and write externally configurable code.
Requirements
- At least 0–3 years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming and coding skills.
- Strong experience with React, React Redux, React Apollo Client, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and a leading JavaScript framework.
- Strong Java, Java EE, REST, GraphQL, and Spring skills.
- Experience with workflow unit test automation frameworks.
- AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, and experience with mission-critical services and platforms are additional advantages.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for serving as a technology ambassador and coaching junior engineers.
- Understanding of the ML lifecycle and ability to integrate AI/ML services or APIs under guidance.
- Curiosity about AI-driven customer experiences and willingness to learn new AI tooling quickly.
- Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
