Responsibilities
- Design and architect a prediction framework for future hardware and software requirements based on staffing, schedules, and project complexity.
- Lead implementation of the framework, resource types, and prediction methods.
- Lead deployment of services into the production environment.
- Provide sprint-based progress updates.
- Write software documentation and create or update troubleshooting playbooks.
- Troubleshoot issues during development and after deployment.
- Coordinate with teams at remote sites across different time zones.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Programming experience with Python and Go.
- Fluency in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, data modeling, and schema design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent subject, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred knowledge of backend web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Falcon.
- Preferred programming experience with C++, SQL, GraphQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Rust.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Agile development experience using Scrum and knowledge of CI/CD workflows are preferred.
