Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the lifecycle, networking, node-pool migrations, and multi-region deployment of production GKE/EKS Kubernetes fleets.
- Maintain FluxCD and Helm GitOps reconciliation pipelines for cluster bootstrapping, progressive rollouts, and secret integrations.
- Architect modular Terraform codebases, manage Terraform Enterprise and Terragrunt workspaces, and enforce Sentinel/OPA policy-as-code governance.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, Kafka, and BigQuery.
- Implement zero-trust security, secrets management, Workload Identity, and network perimeter controls using Vault, External Secrets Operator, and Google Secret Manager/KMS.
- Lead zero-downtime infrastructure migrations, including IP-addressing changes, cluster rebuilds, database cutovers, and data warehouse transitions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, build Splunk and GCP Cloud Logging/Stackdriver observability dashboards, maintain runbooks, and conduct regional disaster recovery drills.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code and design reviews and establish self-service infrastructure standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud data infrastructure.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, SQL, or Java.
- Deep experience operating enterprise-scale Kubernetes fleets using GKE or EKS and container ecosystems.
- Extensive practical experience writing modular Terraform and managing infrastructure as code at scale.
- Demonstrated experience operating event-streaming and workflow systems such as Apache Airflow, Kafka, or BigQuery.
- Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform Enterprise, Terragrunt, Sentinel, Open Policy Agent, FluxCD, ArgoCD, HashiCorp Vault, and Kubernetes External Secrets Operator.
- Preferred: experience executing large-scale cloud migrations, data warehouse transitions, or networking range overhauls with zero customer impact.
