Responsibilities
- Design and expand the platform backbone to support hundreds of thousands of merchants.
- Align project scopes with other teams for cross-team collaboration.
- Mentor engineers to foster their development and growth.
- Collaborate with management to drive the team's long-term vision.
- Execute technical strategies for complex requirements.
- Utilize development tools to automate parts of the process.
- Enhance engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.
- Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in data models, API design, and event-driven architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with backend systems development using AWS, gRPC, Kotlin, and Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems.
