Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation utilities using Cadence SKILL and Linux scripting languages.
- Provide worldwide user support for PDKs, design-capture tools, and layout tools.
- Deliver in-person and online user training and maintain web documentation.
- Develop methodologies for flow automation, environment configuration, and design data management.
- Develop and maintain in-house PDKs and customize external foundry PDKs.
- Create scripts integrating simulation, physical-verification, and parasitic-extraction collateral within PDKs.
- Collaborate with design teams, technology-development teams, and CAD groups.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design, including schematic, layout design, and physical verification.
- Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and supporting PDKs.
- Experience automating Cadence IC tools and scripting or programming with Python, SKILL, Bash, Perl, Tcl/Tk, or similar.
- Familiarity with EDA tools used in IC design.
- Excellent technical communication skills and fluency in English.
- Ability to balance customer-support requests with development tasks.
- Experience with Design Data Management software is a plus.
