Base Salary
$175k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate core telecommunications infrastructure providing secure cellular service and end-to-end data integrity.
- Own foundational telecommunications components across the full software lifecycle, from problem discovery through solution delivery.
- Develop coding guidelines, participate in code reviews, and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Build reliable, performant, and scalable systems that enable product teams to develop applications without deep infrastructure-domain expertise.
- Develop security and privacy capabilities such as signaling-firewall protection, fake base-station detection, spam and smishing prevention, and targeted-attack alerts.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- A strong foundation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field demonstrated through professional experience and academic pursuits.
- Fluency in a modern backend language such as Golang, Rust, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to iterate quickly, incorporate feedback, and maintain high quality.
- Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one is beneficial but not required.
