Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling for the Azure managed services platform.
- Develop Python and PowerShell scripts, modules, and pipelines for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and remediation.
- Build and support infrastructure-as-code deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Integrate Azure tooling with monitoring, ticketing, and CI/CD systems.
- Troubleshoot platform issues across Azure compute, networking, identity, and storage services.
- Contribute to platform reliability, security hardening, and cost optimization.
- Document runbooks, architecture decisions, and operational procedures.
- Monitor Azure service updates and recommend platform improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and identity/Entra ID.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling development.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, particularly for Azure and Windows Server administration and automation.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Git.
- Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure issues under time pressure.
