Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define endpoint security strategy, conduct threat modeling, lead architectural decisions, and drive zero-trust program maturity.
- Develop endpoint security platforms using Python, Go, or similar languages and write production-grade automation and security tools.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code, establish GitOps workflows, and support policy deployment and drift detection.
- Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and build detection pipelines for endpoint compromise, data exfiltration, and policy violations.
- Identify and address platform risks, technical debt, and emerging opportunities.
- Mentor early-career engineers through design reviews, code feedback, technical coaching, and operational guidance.
- Partner with Security, Enterprise Technology, and other teams to translate endpoint challenges into platform solutions.
Requirements
- Hands-on information security experience in security engineering, threat detection, incident response, endpoint protection, or a related domain.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python, Go, or similar systems or software engineering languages, with experience writing production-grade code.
- Understanding of endpoint and mobile security ecosystems, including EDR, DLP, MDM/MCM, endpoint protection, encryption, attestation, and zero-trust device trust.
- Experience deploying and operating enterprise security tools such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, FleetDM, CrowdStrike Falcon, or Okta Verify across multiple operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef, including CI/CD pipelines for configuration and policy deployment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with threat detection pipelines, threat modeling, incident response investigations, adversary tactics, or detection best practices is preferred.
- Scripting experience with Bash or PowerShell is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and enterprise SaaS platforms at scale is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Security+, or CCSP, or contributions to open-source security projects, are preferred.
