Base Salary
$145k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of privacy engineering solutions and integrations with privacy management platforms and enterprise data infrastructure.
- Assess ad tech practices, identify privacy compliance gaps, and implement technical measures across tracking and marketing technology environments.
- Advise on consent models for cookies, pixels, beacons, websites, and mobile applications, including website scanning and preference management.
- Analyze network traffic, use network scanning tools, and document data flows for privacy impact assessments, data inventories, and regulatory programs.
- Lead privacy technology implementations, source code analyses, website and application compliance reviews, and privacy technology training.
- Manage engagement workstreams, supervise junior team members, and serve as a primary client stakeholder contact.
- Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, standardized methodologies, and reusable work products.
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience in privacy engineering, technical privacy consulting, or a closely related field.
- Experience designing and implementing technical privacy solutions, system integrations, consent management, and privacy-by-design frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and their practical technical implementation.
- Ability to travel to FTI offices and client sites as needed.
- Current authorization to work full-time in the United States; the position does not provide visa sponsorship.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Privacy Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred CIPP, CIPT, or OneTrust certifications.
- Experience with tag management and marketing technologies, including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, plus experience with data integration pipelines.
- Knowledge of internet protocol layers, network security concepts, and privacy management platform configuration and integration.
