Base Salary
$137k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify business and technical problems and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
- Architect, build, deploy, and support production-grade AI applications, services, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, and reusable technical components.
- Design secure and scalable architectures across customer-owned and Thomson Reuters infrastructure.
- Establish observability, monitoring, evaluation, MLOps/LLMOps, security, and governance practices.
- Participate in technical design reviews, mentor engineers, and drive solutions from discovery through production deployment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and delivering production systems.
- Strong hands-on software engineering and architecture experience.
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying production AI/ML or LLM-powered systems.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, agents, evaluation, MLOps/LLMOps, observability, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders to identify technical problems and develop solutions.
- Strong understanding of scalable APIs, services, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and production software engineering practices.
- Ability to operate across discovery, architecture, build, deployment, and production support.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, customer-facing AI engineering, regulated industries, enterprise SaaS, AI startups, security, compliance, governance, auditability, reusable platforms, and mentoring or leading complex technical initiatives.
