Responsibilities
- Own and improve infrastructure across geographically dispersed data centers serving hundreds of millions of users.
- Develop software, automation, tooling, and infrastructure to reduce operational load and improve system reliability.
- Manage and scale distributed systems across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Deploy, support, and monitor services, platforms, and application stacks.
- Manage diverse systems using configuration management and software delivery platforms.
- Troubleshoot device-driver performance, infrastructure, services, and networking challenges.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with Go, Python, Ruby, and Bash and a passion for building reliable systems.
- Deep systems and infrastructure knowledge with strong ownership, integrity, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Advanced hands-on experience with source code and artifact management systems and CI/CD infrastructure, including GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of Linux, standard networking protocols, and related components.
- Experience managing and scaling distributed systems in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Puppet or Ansible for configuration management or software delivery.
- Experience deploying, supporting, and monitoring services, platforms, and application stacks using tools such as Grafana and Splunk.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including with and without AI assistance.
