Responsibilities
- Develop account-level technical strategies, customer success plans, consumption plans, and competitive approaches.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor by assessing customer needs, consulting on security, and leading customer technical discussions.
- Design and oversee product demonstrations, architecture design sessions, proof-of-concept sessions, and solution integrations.
- Present architecture patterns and drive cross-workload support for Microsoft solutions.
- Coordinate partner resources, identify technical capacity gaps, and facilitate partner sell-with engagements.
- Capture competitive insights and customer feedback for product and engineering teams.
- Mentor internal teams, demonstrate new products, and support technical community and readiness activities.
- Apply sales methodologies and coach teams in supporting customer digital transformation and security improvements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 3+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience; or bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of such experience; or 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid or on-premises infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- Preferred: certification in relevant technologies or disciplines such as Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development, cloud platform technologies, information security, or architecture.
- Strong knowledge of customer context, solution or portfolio expertise, technical and industry concepts, and architecture is required for the advisory and solution-design responsibilities.
