Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with client requirements and platform best practices.
- Build platform features using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Glide APIs.
- Design and implement REST and SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub and MID Server.
- For ITOM assignments, work with Discovery, probe and sensor patterns, credential management, CMDB class design, reconciliation rules, Service Mapping, and Event Management alert correlation.
- Translate requirements and user stories into functional solutions while collaborating with business analysts, architects, and clients.
- Produce technical documentation, integration designs, work-effort estimates, and development deliveries.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide timely client updates.
- At senior or lead level, mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, lead client workshops, and contribute to pre-sales.
Requirements
- Hands-on ServiceNow platform experience appropriate to the applicant’s level and primary module specialization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Glide APIs.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration patterns; IntegrationHub is preferred from Consultant level.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into ServiceNow platform solutions.
- Strong communication skills for working with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Senior and lead candidates should have experience owning architecture artifacts and leading client-facing workshops.
- ServiceNow CSA certification is required, or actively pursuing at Associate level.
- ServiceNow CIS in the primary module is required from Consultant level.
- ServiceNow CAD is required from Senior Technical Consultant level.
- ITIL Foundation is preferred, and additional CIS certifications are advantageous at Senior/Lead level.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
