Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain high-quality product features.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new features for Kami’s digital classroom platform.
- Maintain and enhance frontend and backend systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and support scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Investigate bugs, debug complex systems, and implement reliable fixes.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and customer-facing stakeholders to translate ideas and feedback into technical solutions.
- Use user insights to inform product enhancements and contribute ideas supporting user and business goals.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, workflows, and prioritization.
- Mentor engineers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- Experience with web technologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with scalable backend systems and API development.
- Comfort working with agile workflows and collaborative development.
- Experience debugging complex systems and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Strong product sense, autonomy, collaboration, and customer-oriented communication skills.
