Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop automated CI/CD build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket.
- Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade Kafka and Elastic clusters and environments.
- Configure applications and integrations for network data in AWS-hosted Elastic/ELK environments.
- Implement DoD security standards, STIG requirements, compliance monitoring, and security controls in pipelines and production environments.
- Build dashboards, observability, monitoring, alerting, and automation for application health, performance, availability, security posture, infrastructure utilization, cloud spend, and reliability.
- Optimize cloud and infrastructure costs through utilization analysis, rightsizing, idle-resource identification, storage and compute optimization, and FinOps practices.
- Manage certificate provisioning, renewal, rotation, expiration monitoring, and related automation.
- Develop automated tests using Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, and applicable tools.
- Troubleshoot installation, infrastructure, and system issues and identify, monitor, and mitigate technical risks.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Cloud, and Application Engineering teams and geographically distributed stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline plus 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus 6–10 years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to complete and maintain additional customer suitability screenings.
- Current Security+ certification or higher/equivalent, or ability to obtain a qualifying DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within 60 days.
- Ability to obtain an interim DoD Secret clearance before the start date.
- Experience developing software in an Agile environment and on Linux platforms.
- Experience with distributed version control such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, strong communication and collaboration skills, leadership ability, organization, and documentation skills.
- Preferred experience with Python, Java, SQL, JavaScript, JSON/REST web services, AWS, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Preferred full software lifecycle, cloud, production deployment, API integration, software design documentation, artifact review, and DoD software security/STIG experience.
