Responsibilities

Triage and resolve internal and external customer-related issues across the SAS9 Division.
Fix customer and security-related software issues and upgrade third-party software.
Collaborate with development, testing, product, operations, and support teams.
Scope requirements and estimate development effort.
Improve current processes to increase team speed and efficiency.
Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration and regression testing.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
8+ years of experience developing software on large projects.
Strong Java programming experience, SQL experience, and a strong understanding of REST APIs.
Experience with Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat.
Familiarity with FIPS, TLS, certificates, private-key infrastructure, and ciphers.
Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2 databases and Python is advantageous.
Experience with Bash Shell, Linux commands, Gerrit, Git, GitHub, and Eclipse IDE.
Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, IBM MQ, Ignite, Kafka, or Redis.
Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, initiative, and collaboration skills.
