Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve internal and external customer-related issues across the SAS9 Division.
- Fix customer and security-related software issues and upgrade third-party software.
- Collaborate with development, testing, product, operations, and support teams.
- Scope requirements and estimate development effort.
- Improve current processes to increase team speed and efficiency.
- Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration and regression testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
- 8+ years of experience developing software on large projects.
- Strong Java programming experience, SQL experience, and a strong understanding of REST APIs.
- Experience with Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat.
- Familiarity with FIPS, TLS, certificates, private-key infrastructure, and ciphers.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2 databases and Python is advantageous.
- Experience with Bash Shell, Linux commands, Gerrit, Git, GitHub, and Eclipse IDE.
- Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, IBM MQ, Ignite, Kafka, or Redis.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, initiative, and collaboration skills.
