Base Salary
$93k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs that follow architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and improve operational practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards throughout development.
- Identify, resolve, and retest defects.
- Critically review and prioritize tasks for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Two to three years of relevant experience.
- Expert-level coding skills in Java and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting, GitLab, SQL, and Linux.
- Functional testing experience, including creating, maintaining, and executing manual and automated tests.
- DevOps capabilities involving containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of application modeling, design, architecture, system architecture, and network architecture.
- Experience with unit testing, test automation, and integration with CI systems.
- Experience with service virtualization, test case modeling, and test data management tools and processes.
- Ability to collaborate, make sound coding and design decisions, and identify and resolve defects.
