Responsibilities
- Own and evolve end-to-end testing strategy across MES implementation, upgrade, and integration projects.
- Serve as the release quality gate by confirming regulatory, functional, and performance criteria before production release.
- Guide Computer System Validation activities in alignment with GxP, GAMP 5, and regulated software lifecycle expectations.
- Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, regression, integration, performance, automation, and UAT testing.
- Collaborate with process owners, business stakeholders, validation teams, development teams, and DevOps teams.
- Own defect triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and select, implement, and improve test automation frameworks.
- Maintain production-like test environments and report testing metrics, quality status, and risks.
- Build and lead a team of test and validation engineers and promote continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Experience leading QA or testing functions on complex enterprise software programs in Agile and DevOps delivery models.
- Experience defining and executing full-spectrum testing strategies while leading a QA team.
- Practical experience integrating test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Direct experience with Azure DevOps and test tools such as Cucumber, Behave, Tosca, or Robot.
- Experience with test management frameworks such as Xray, Zephyr, qTest, or similar.
- Solid MES testing experience, preferably with Emerson Syncade or DeltaV MES, including electronic batch records, workflow configuration, and system integrations.
- Working knowledge of GxP, Computer System Validation, and GAMP 5.
- Experience testing MES integrations with SAP and LIMS in a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
