Responsibilities
- Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance Python-based data engineering applications.
- Ingest data from multiple sources and formats.
- Perform complex business transformations and create reportable data marts.
- Build utilities for monitoring and automating repetitive functions.
- Deploy application components using CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams, operations, infrastructure, Tech Ops, and external clients.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of applicable software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience writing complex SQL and understanding data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Python, Airflow, FastAPI, front-end and back-end object-oriented programming, and relational databases.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, PostgreSQL, GitHub, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred or advantageous.
- Strong fundamentals in AI tools and prompt engineering.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
