Responsibilities
- Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications using Python, FastAPI, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, complex SQL, Azure, Airflow, GitHub, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Deploy application components using CI/CD pipelines.
- Ingest data from multiple sources and formats.
- Perform complex business transformations and create reportable data marts.
- Build utilities for monitoring and automating repetitive functions.
- Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams, internal and external clients, Operations, Infrastructure, and Tech Ops.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of applicable software engineering experience.
- Strong fundamentals in AI tools and prompt engineering.
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with front-end and back-end object-oriented programming, including Python, Airflow, and FastAPI.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with DevOps technologies such as GitHub, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.
- Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
- Excellent English communication skills for working with cross-functional technology teams and the business.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
