Responsibilities
- Build and ship large-scale distributed services and solutions.
- Own system design across well-defined interfaces and multiple components.
- Review code and apply telemetry and data to guide engineering decisions.
- Build modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, and reusable components.
- Increase test coverage and build and maintain integration tests.
- Troubleshoot live-site issues and improve automation, reliability, and monitoring.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to deliver end-to-end customer experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, including authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.
- 2+ years of experience designing, building, and operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems on Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud environments.
- Experience with production ownership, CI/CD pipeline integration, and automated testing practices.
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered systems or workflows, including safe model-output handling, orchestration, or agent-based systems.
- Ability to pass Microsoft and Microsoft Cloud background checks and other applicable security screenings.
