Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions.
- Build and maintain end-to-end applications, including backend APIs, data layers, application logic, domain models, background jobs, microservices, and React frontends.
- Design and develop secure REST APIs using FastAPI or Django and build responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Implement integrations, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, cloud deployments, and production support.
- Deploy applications on AWS or Azure using cloud-native hosting, storage, caching, and observability services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders on requirements, solution strategies, and delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and follow secure coding practices.
- Support Location Strategy projects while managing risk, controls, governance, and operational effectiveness.
- Guide team members, contribute to complex assignments, communicate complex information, and influence stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and React.
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, REST Framework, JDBC, and ODBC.
- Experience with asynchronous programming, particularly using FastAPI.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools, including GitLab.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Ability to build reusable React components and secure, scalable REST APIs.
- Knowledge of application reliability, secure coding, unit testing, microservices, and production operations.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, analyze complex information, manage risk, and guide team members.
