Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications for COS and the Portfolio Brands.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects, backend engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design reviews, and engineering standards.
- Build and maintain frontend architectures, state management solutions, and integrations with backend services and APIs.
- Contribute to e-commerce, digital experience, and composable platform solutions for Portfolio Brands.
- Work in an Agile development environment and support automated testing, cloud platforms, and development pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Proven frontend engineering experience, preferably focused on Next.js, with strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, and responsive design.
- Experience with system design, headless CMS, component-driven architectures, e-commerce, SaaS, or large-scale enterprise applications.
- Experience with React libraries and frameworks such as Redux, React Router, or Next.js.
- Experience with Node.js, backend technologies, APIs, version control, testing frameworks, and automated testing strategies.
- Knowledge of frontend build tools and module bundlers such as Webpack or Babel.
- Familiarity with Jest or React Testing Library, UI/UX design principles, Agile/Scrum, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and ability to learn new technologies.
