Base Salary
$143k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and influence the technical direction of Power Platform Core products across client, service, and data layers.
- Lead requirements analysis, dependency identification, design documentation, and cross-product project and release planning.
- Design and implement extensible, maintainable, secure, scalable, and high-performing software.
- Mentor engineers across products and solutions while serving as a Designated Responsible Individual for monitoring and on-call support.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Define and oversee engineering systems and drive proof-of-concept initiatives and technology evaluations.
- Lead integration of AI features with applied science teams and collaborate across Microsoft engineering and product organizations.
- Engage strategic customers to understand needs, guide solution design, and support successful adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check and applicable customer or government security screening requirements.
- Preferred: master's degree with 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree with 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML, data science, or applied science.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern web frameworks, microservices, API design, CRM, CMS, or Power Platform.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with global teams.
Benefits
- U.S. base pay range is $142,800–$274,800 per year, with a San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range of $188,000–$304,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
