Responsibilities
- Design, set up, and manage CI/CD infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud-based environments.
- Automate development, delivery, and deployment processes using tools and scripts.
- Improve portability of CI/CD environments by minimizing dependence on underlying infrastructure.
- Monitor application performance and health and address performance bottlenecks.
- Improve system and software scalability, reliability, and availability.
- Support and train development teams in using the CI/CD environment.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure architectures are integrable and releasable.
- Collaborate with software development, system integration, and testing teams while maintaining security standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software development, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and containerization tools such as Docker or Podman.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab-CI and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Familiarity with artifact management tools such as Artifactory or Nexus and monitoring solutions such as Grafana or ElasticSearch.
- Proficiency in Python, Groovy, or Gradle scripting.
- Desirable experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, and REST APIs.
- Desirable relevant certifications such as Jenkins or Azure certifications.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills and ability to work with remote and international teams.
