Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute software deployments across staging, testing, and production environments.
- Plan and schedule deployment activities with development and operations teams.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment tasks.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment process issues and failures.
- Maintain deployment tools, scripts, version control, documentation, and configuration procedures.
- Perform post-deployment testing and support application validation and deployment.
- Manage deployments and configurations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Ensure security and operational standards during deployments and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Active US Top Secret Security clearance.
- 3–5+ years of experience delivering, integrating, or operating technology solutions in DoD network environments, including deployment or release engineering.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of OSI networking principles in general and DoD-specific contexts.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization, version control systems, cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to operate independently in changing, fast-paced, and resource-constrained environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed, with travel up to 50%.
- Preferred experience with Python, C, Rust, Assembly, Bash, and PowerShell; distributed systems; embedded systems; bare-metal environments; hardware virtualization; RTOS; Linux; Windows; databases; and database deployment strategies.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
