Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, and test production Android applications for consumer banking clients.
- Own technical direction and delivery for client engagements while making architecture and implementation decisions.
- Lead and mentor engineers, increasing their autonomy, capability, and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with clients, leadership, product owners, designers, technologists, and users to align solutions with business and technical priorities.
- Break down complex problems into technical solutions and proactively manage delivery risks.
- Promote strong software architecture, development practices, and adoption of useful technologies.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
- At least 4 years of experience leading Agile teams.
- Expert-level experience building production Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with consumer banking, including account management and onboarding.
- Familiarity with RESTful API integration and third-party libraries.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus: experience with fraud management, KYC, AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, or published Google Play Store applications.
- Bonus: college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Bonus: experience using Claude, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
