Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship a comprehensive React.js component library and design system integrated with a custom CMS.
- Build and document reusable, accessible components and support dynamic content management and configuration.
- Translate design mockups into polished, pixel-perfect, responsive production interfaces.
- Establish frontend coding standards, architectural patterns, best practices, and developer guidelines across the organization.
- Create component documentation and improve developer experience, performance, accessibility, and development workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Marketing, and Engineering across multiple fast-moving projects.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions, strategy, and process improvements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience focused on web and component-driven applications.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript and proficiency with React.
- Strong UI engineering skills, including advanced CSS and pixel-perfect responsive implementation.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems or component libraries at scale.
- Experience with modern frontend build tools such as webpack and Vite.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks and component testing practices.
- Experience integrating custom-built or headless CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility, WCAG, and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience in a large technology organization or fast-growing startup and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, Next.js, server-side rendering, large TypeScript codebases, or mentoring experience is preferred.
