Base Salary
$145k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test a web-based application.
- Edit site content for various components.
- Maintain website standards and comply with predefined design guidelines.
- Use web screen design best practices and learn middleware platforms to source and update data according to functional requirements.
- Provide project leadership and communicate design and development information to staff at all levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- United States citizenship and residence in the Washington, DC area.
- At least an active Top Secret clearance.
- Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, client-side scripting, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience building and working with RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of image authoring tools and basic image editing, including cropping and resizing.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Basic understanding of Git and experience with open source software.
- Intermediate experience with TypeScript, HTML, and SQL, plus advanced experience with React.js and Node.js.
- Preferred experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and MySQL; AWS containerization; Drupal; Unix/Linux; and Section 508 compliance development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
