Base Salary
$195k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, review, refactor, debug, and optimize Java/Spring Boot back-end and Angular front-end code.
- Use AI coding assistants to generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and support application modernization.
- Review AI-generated outputs for adherence to security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL standards.
- Plan and guide complex cross-functional initiatives, define enterprise patterns, and influence organization-wide quality and delivery practices.
- Mentor colleagues, advise executives and clients on technical strategy, and deliver high-level technical presentations.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance and ability to work on site in Washington, DC.
- Undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of Java/Spring Boot experience, 4 years of Angular experience, and 3 years of PostgreSQL experience.
- Strong expertise in AWS environments and demonstrated experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Excellent debugging, architectural design, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments is preferred.
