Base Salary
$184k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and modernize custom enterprise applications for mission-critical federal systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support operations and maintenance activities.
- Apply secure coding practices, participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Develop across backend, frontend, database, hosting, and containerization technologies.
- Communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders while maintaining customer trust.
- Support continuity of operations, including potential work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with current or previously held SCI access.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- Certification meeting DoD 8140 requirements, such as Security+ or higher.
- Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer Associate, or a recent/relevant software development certification.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience building, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications in mission-critical environments.
- Expertise with C#, .NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET, including WebForms or MVC.
- Frontend experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and Angular and/or React.
- Backend database development and administration experience, including SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub; CI/CD pipelines; and Docker containerization.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, PowerShell, IIS hosting, Kerberos, and OIDC authentication.
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
