Base Salary

$147k - $161k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and modernize enterprise applications using .NET and React.
  • Design APIs and services and integrate solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform.
  • Make architecture and technology-selection decisions for enterprise applications.
  • Establish CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical leadership.
  • Drive AI-enabled modernization initiatives using AI-powered developer tools.
  • Serve as the primary stakeholder contact for intake requests, clarifying needs and documenting requirements.
  • Triage and route requests to appropriate solutions architects and analysts while coordinating progress through proposed solutions.
  • Communicate status, timelines, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Monitor intake metrics, maintain engagement records, and improve intake, triage, routing, and delivery workflows.
  • Support secure, scalable, and reliable solutions in a federal environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Local to the DMV area with the ability to work onsite in Washington, DC and support federal-environment requirements.
  • At least 8 years of progressive .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role and in enterprise architecture and technology selection.
  • Proficiency with React, including hooks, component design, state management, and responsive UI development.
  • Experience developing server-side applications or APIs with Node.js.
  • Professional experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot or OpenAI Codex.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Experience supporting or modernizing SharePoint-backed systems, including SharePoint Online and legacy SharePoint 2013 or newer.
  • Deep experience with MS SQL, Entity Framework, and RESTful API design and consumption.
  • Experience establishing or maturing CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, with strong Git fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of application security, Active Directory, and enterprise identity and access patterns.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Office applications, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting recommendations to engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to support occasional Saturday deployment activities.
