Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of efficient, reliable, scalable digital solutions aligned with enterprise standards and technical strategy.
- Write production-ready code and develop complex backend software components and critical functionalities.
- Make architecture and infrastructure decisions supporting scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Champion engineering best practices, including code quality, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
- Own quality assurance for complex features through unit and integration testing, code reviews, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate with product, operations, and clinical stakeholders.
- Drive agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, progress tracking, and technical blocker removal.
- Create and maintain system designs, architecture decision records, specifications, runbooks, and user guides.
- Drive technical debt reduction, performance optimization, process improvement, and continued professional development.
Requirements
- Requires 5+ years of software development experience, including backend development.
- Requires 3+ years of experience with Java fundamentals and advanced concepts, including concurrency, JVM internals, and performance tuning.
- Requires 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
- Requires 3+ years of experience designing and implementing GraphQL, RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Requires 3+ years of experience with database design, development, and optimization across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Requires 2+ years of experience with SDLC, Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Requires 2+ years of experience participating in or leading code reviews and establishing testing strategies with modern testing frameworks.
- Requires 2+ years of experience with cloud-native development and deployment patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience is accepted.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with GCP, event-driven architectures, Kafka, data migration, database modernization, observability, security testing, vulnerability assessment, and remediation practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, and system-level debugging skills are preferred.
