Base Salary
$180k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy secure production systems across cloud-native and edge appliance deployments.
- Advise cross-functional teams on infrastructure, security, and deployment best practices.
- Own infrastructure outcomes for critical programs or priority infrastructure initiatives.
- Harden the artifact pipeline so signed builds run consistently across cloud, high-side, and air-gapped appliance deployments.
- Architect, build, and operate Kubernetes, cloud, data-platform, and application-streaming infrastructure end to end.
- Partner with GRC and mission owners on STIGs, CVE remediation, audit preparation, and operational controls.
- Write and review production code and contribute to RFCs and PRDs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience operating production infrastructure in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
- Production experience designing, building, and operating services in a modern backend language such as Go, Python, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Deep production Kubernetes experience covering operators, networking, storage, and multi-cluster operations.
- Expertise with major cloud providers such as AWS and Azure, including designing across providers and deployment profiles.
- Strong application and infrastructure security fundamentals, including identity, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability classes, and security judgment.
- Ability to build solutions from scratch, integrate disparate applications, and contribute to existing codebases.
- Experience packaging and shipping workloads into disconnected or air-gapped environments.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
- Preferred: active US SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.
- Preferred: AWS GovCloud or Azure Government experience.
- Preferred: exposure to FedRAMP, IL4, IL5, IL6, or JWICS environments.
- Preferred: audit experience with FedRAMP, SOC 2, or equivalent.
- Preferred: big data or distributed data experience and experience in defense, intelligence, or other regulated industries.
