Responsibilities
- Customize and optimize Android Open Source Project builds and platform software on Qualcomm SoCs.
- Develop and debug Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity software through shipping products.
- Work on device drivers, HALs, middleware, kernel modules, and embedded Linux components.
- Support Wi-Fi/Bluetooth coexistence, RF bring-up, over-the-air debugging, and hardware or board bring-up.
- Perform hardware-software co-design and performance tuning, including power and thermal control on mobile SoCs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with the AOSP build system and platform customization.
- Experience developing and debugging Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth software on Qualcomm AOSP SoCs, ideally through a shipping product.
- Knowledge of Qualcomm SoC architecture and driver development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded Linux programming.
- Familiarity with cross-compilation toolchains and kernel module development.
- Must be able to travel up to 20%.
- Must be clearance eligible.
- Preferred experience with Android connectivity frameworks, HALs, wpa_supplicant, cfg80211/mac80211, Bluetooth stack/BTFM, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth coexistence, RF bring-up, over-the-air debugging, hardware bring-up, board debugging, power management, thermal control, security features, and trusted execution environments.
