Base Salary
$130k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop middleware based on C and C++.
- Customize Yocto and Buildroot distributions.
- Develop device drivers for bootloaders and Linux kernels on embedded hardware platforms.
- Develop or customize board support packages for client hardware, including software updates, security enhancements, and optimization.
- Contribute to low-level software architecture discussions.
- Manage schedules, project requirements, specifications, and deliverables with teammates and customers.
- Participate in project validation, estimation, and project sizing.
- Communicate technical information clearly and accurately to customers.
Requirements
- Expertise in Yocto and C is required.
- Experience with embedded C++ development.
- Proficiency in Linux kernel and middleware development on ARM architecture.
- Experience with embedded design, development, and debugging.
- A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
- Knowledge of Buildroot.
- Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
