Base Salary
$145k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain and integrate internal tools, including device emulators and emulation environments.
- Collaborate with embedded systems and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver mission-critical software infrastructure and tools.
- Provide documentation, testing, inspection, and analysis to verify compliance with requirements.
- Support flight software design, development, unit testing, and release processes.
- Participate in task planning, status meetings, standups, sprint planning, and related delivery activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least six years of experience delivering and maintaining commercial or embedded software in a production environment.
- Expertise writing clean, maintainable Python and Bash code.
- Experience with version control and continuous integration.
- Expertise with developer toolchains, build tools, and pipelines including Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Jira.
- Expertise with Linux toolchains and environments, including the GNU toolchain, QEMU, Buildroot, and Yocto.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and a record of delivering products on time and on budget.
- Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, cross-team collaboration, and independent-work skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded software testing and verification, hardware maintenance for embedded testing, C/C++ programming and debugging, CI/CD or infrastructure-as-code maintenance, and QEMU, Buildroot, or Yocto experience.
