Base Salary
$184k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate drivers, firmware, and software for network devices, transport stacks, and AI workloads.
- Debug complex system-level issues and lead performance tuning to optimize software stack performance.
- Integrate software components across partner teams and drive their continued development.
- Develop and automate test suites for CI/CD frameworks and software components.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, test, and other partner teams and participate in on-call rotations.
- Design, develop, and deploy services for managing data-center network switches and forwarding functions.
- Enhance HPC collective communication and parallel computing libraries, including NCCL, RCCL, OneCCL, and MPI.
- Build infrastructure that maintains switch state and enables service-to-service communication at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience in industry settings, or a PhD with 4+ years of experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience with network devices and products such as routers, switches, adapters, or load balancers.
- Understanding of network routing protocols in industry settings.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and at least one scripting language, such as Python or Shell Scripting.
- Experience developing and automating test suites.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Preferred experience with platform services, BSP, operating systems, kernels, bootloaders, power management, RTOS, or Linux.
- Preferred knowledge of RDMA and/or RoCEv2, parallel computing platforms such as CUDA, ROCm, or OpenCL, Linux kernel drivers and networking, QEMU, FPGA emulation, systems programming, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SPDY, DNS, and load balancers.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of $183,997 to $257,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
