Responsibilities

Own the architecture, feature development, integrations, maintenance, and scaling of the Enterprise Voice AI Agent.
Build and tune speech recognition, natural language understanding, dialogue management, and text-to-speech pipelines.
Develop and maintain React/Next.js frontend and Node.js/Python backend components.
Integrate the platform with CRMs, telephony platforms, APIs, and client infrastructure.
Manage the product backlog and independently drive features and improvements into production.
Act as the primary technical liaison with Dutch-speaking stakeholders, conducting requirements sessions, reviews, and status updates in Dutch.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and working software, and write Dutch client documentation, release notes, and user guides.
Design and integrate agentic AI tools for testing, debugging, monitoring, and feature prototyping.
Improve platform reliability, call-handling quality, voice-agent performance, observability, and operational workflows.

Professional written and spoken Dutch proficiency is required.
1–3 years of professional software development experience or equivalent strong project-based work.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
Production experience with React and Next.js, including routing, SSR/SSG, API routes, and data fetching.
Backend experience with Node.js and/or Python, including REST APIs, authentication, and third-party integrations.
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, including schema design and querying.
Familiarity with testing practices and Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
Comfort with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of HTTP, authentication, caching, security, and performance.
Interest in and basic experience with AI-assisted or agentic development workflows.
Preferred: experience with voice AI platforms, telephony APIs, conversational AI, LLM integration, prompt engineering, agentic AI tools, cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, automated testing, and the Dutch enterprise software landscape.

Fully remote role based in Canada.
Full-time position with a small, collaborative, product-focused team.
