Responsibilities
- Understand and frame user and product problems and help the squad deliver simple, pragmatic solutions.
- Lead significant technical deliveries from problem definition through design, implementation, testing, production operation, and improvement.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues using monitoring, observability, and data analysis tools.
- Design and evolve robust solutions while improving performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Improve engineering practices through code reviews, pair programming, documentation, RFCs, and responsible AI-assisted development.
- Mentor engineers, provide actionable feedback, share knowledge, and help raise the team’s technical skills.
- Collaborate across teams, communicate progress and risks, and contribute to technical content, onboarding, interviews, incident resolution, and community activities.
Requirements
- At least 7–8 years of strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
- Strong technical expertise combined with product and business understanding.
- Ability to solve complex problems and deliver reliable, pragmatic solutions with ownership.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to support team development and contribute to engineering practices and technical community activities.
