Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain customized Salesforce solutions across a complex Salesforce organization.
- Build and support Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, and related front-end functionality.
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Implement event-driven and asynchronous processing patterns using CDC and Platform Events.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems through middleware, APIs, and real-time data exchanges.
- Support authentication, SSO, and identity integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce performance, security, and data-integrity issues.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs with business and engineering partners.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning while delivering solutions on tight timelines.
- Apply Salesforce best practices, security guidelines, and performance standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, including significant hands-on development in a complex, heavily customized Salesforce organization.
- Strong proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, the Salesforce data model, and Salesforce security architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, capabilities, and constraints.
- Ability to read, debug, and optimize Apex and JavaScript code.
- Experience with Platform Events, CDC, and other event-driven patterns.
- Familiarity with SSO configuration and identity-management concepts in Salesforce.
- Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in regulated environments, with distributed teams, and in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to work in-office a minimum of 3–4 days per week.
- Preferred: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Developer, or Architect certification.
- Preferred: Experience Cloud development and familiarity with React or other modern front-end frameworks.
- Preferred: Understanding of relational databases and data design using SQL, SOQL, or similar technologies.
- Preferred: Knowledge of least-privilege access, separation of duties, and enterprise security principles.
- Preferred: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce in financial-services or investment-banking environments.
