Base Salary
$170k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build the compliance platform UI from scratch, including dashboards, BAA and contract management, opt-in/opt-out, and data residency management.
- Build authentication and authorization flows to control access to sensitive reports and records.
- Convert audit and access data into reporting for executives and the privacy office.
- Collaborate with the founding backend engineer to shape platform APIs.
- Ship a lightweight v1 quickly and iterate with internal users across engineering, customer success, and DevOps.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of frontend engineering experience building production web applications.
- Experience building internal tools, admin surfaces, or data-heavy dashboards used daily.
- Strong understanding of permission-gated UX, including roles, access states, and audience-specific visibility.
- Ability to make complex data clear and legible.
- Comfort working on a small, fast-moving team with real deadlines.
- Preferred: experience in compliance, privacy, security, or another trust-sensitive domain.
- Preferred: full-stack experience and ability to work on backend systems when needed.
- Preferred: experience building reporting for executive audiences.
