Responsibilities
- Build and improve multi-stage computer vision pipelines for data extraction.
- Own pipeline accuracy by diagnosing failure modes and driving improvements.
- Write and maintain structured prompting protocols for multimodal models.
- Design persistence schemas and audit data models for reviewable extractions.
- Maintain and extend async Python backend services for clinical workflows.
Requirements
- Production experience with multimodal LLM APIs and structured-output prompts.
- Comfort with image preprocessing techniques like contrast normalization and thresholding.
- Experience with machine-readable code decoding and related preprocessing strategies.
- Strong async Python skills, particularly with FastAPI and PostgreSQL.
- A reliability-first mindset for building auditable output pipelines.
