Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of technical solutions for the data and reporting application.
- Provide technical direction, architecture, sophisticated analysis, and strategic decision-making across development and implementation phases.
- Build resilient, stateless, scalable, and testable full-stack applications using cloud-native microservices architecture.
- Develop APIs, integrations, shared components, front-end applications, back-end services, and scalable data architectures.
- Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, business analysts, product managers, QA engineers, support teams, and other development teams.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of critical data and reporting needs and address data quality and integrity issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD implementation, automated testing, monitoring, health checks, and production stability.
- Partner with QA to support functional and nonfunctional testing throughout release cycles.
- Lead and mentor team members while fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and building enterprise applications and data architectures.
- Hands-on experience leading solution architecture and development across front-end web and back-end applications.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with Angular or React, Spring Boot or Spring Cloud, APIs, AWS, Docker, and microservices.
- Experience with application security practices including secret management, OAuth, and PKI.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD tooling, testing automation, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases, cloud and big data platforms, data catalogs, and governance tools.
- Experience serving as a technical lead for software development and implementation.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience with AI agent and automation development is a plus.
- Financial services experience is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, math, or statistics.
